The Gold Tone Custom Shop is a partnership between Banjo Warehouse and Gold Tone Music Group: instruments we’ve co-developed with upgraded appointments, ornamented hardware, and details drawn from the great presentation-grade banjos of the 1920s and ’30s — built in limited runs exclusively for our shop.
Every Custom Shop instrument gets the same treatment as everything we sell: inspected and professionally set up by our luthier Tara in Yellow Springs, Ohio, shipped insured, and backed by Geoff Hohwald’s 50-plus years in the banjo business. When it says Custom Shop, it means you won’t see another one at the jam — because there isn’t another one to see.
