1927 Gibson TB3 5 string conversion Banjo NO HOLE TONE RING

This is an all original style 3 conversion banjo.  The banjo has a maple shell with a maple neck.  The fretboard is rosewood with a leaves and bows inlay pattern.  This also has a rare no hole tone ring that definitely is a great sounding part.  The neck was made by an unknown builder but is definitely a professional quality neck.  There is white binding on each side of the neck and resonator.  The hardware is nickel and it looks fantastic!!  This also includes a very nice hardshell case.

Condition

The banjo is in great shape but does have some wear.  The original finish on the back of the resonator has some wear.  It looks like buckle wear.  The hardware looks incredible.  The neck itself is clean but there is some wear on the binding.  The fretboard is also clean as are the frets.  This has been set up and it plays great and sounds fantastic!!  This tone ring really makes a big difference.  There are spikes at the 7th, 9th and 10th frets.  This is absolutely a smoking hot banjo that is set up and plays and sounds fantastic.  The case is also very clean.
