This is a one piece flange Gibson TB2 5 string conversion banjo. The banjo has Huber parts for the conversion. This is a magnificent TB2 with the Huber ring and neck. ALL OF OUR SALES INCLUDE A FULL SATISFACTION GUARANTEE!!!

1929 Gibson TB2 5 string Banjo Description

This is a walnut banjo with a 3 ply hard rock maple rim. The hardware is nickel. This has a one piece flange which is a big deal. The one piece flange pre war Gibsons are the most desirable banjos from that era. This has a Huber HR30 tone ring and a new Huber neck. The neck is also walnut and has a rosewood fretboard. The fretboard has a Flying Eagle inlay pattern. This has a one piece armrest and an original Grover Patent Presto Tailpiece. All of the hardware is original. This is an absolute cannon especially now that it has the Huber parts. The banjo also includes a hardshell case.

Condition

This is in stellar condition. The finish is clean and really looks great. There isn’t even any serious button scratching. The hardware has aged nicely and is very attractive. The neck is new and unplayed. The frets are in perfect shape. The fretboard also is in perfect condition. This is an all around gem on top of being a hard hitting banjo with tone.

Set Up

All of our banjos are professionally set up here at the Banjo Warehouse. This has nice comfortable action and really plays great. This has a great deal of volume and has a dark tone with the walnut. The banjo has a new Huber head, Huber 5/8 bridge and Huber Truetone strings. The head is set to 90 on a drum dial all the way around. This also has correct intonation. CALL TODAY 404-372-5482!!!
