1930 Gibson TB-1 conversion banjo
This is a maple banjo that is an all original pot with a Steve Ryan flathead tone ring and an unknown neck maker. This is a great conversion and the neck is set up with low action and this is a fast playing banjo that sounds excellent!! There is some aztec Indian type inlays on the fretboard with seagulls and leaves and bows. This is a unique and well put together prewar conversion that looks, plays and sounds fantastic!!!
The condition is also excellent, there is almost no sign of playing or wear in the pot or the resonator and the conversion neck is also in fantastic condition. The frets are all fat and meaty and in great shape and there are frets in the 7th-10th frets.
This is an absolutely gorgeous banjo for the price. Pre War banjos are getting more desirable and it is very hard to find a quality conversion for a price like this. The Steve Ryan flathead tone ring is a huge plus. Steve Ryan is making fantastic tone rings and this is a great example!!!!
This also includes a clean hardshell case. This 1930 Gibson Banjo is a fabulous example of a pre war Gibson banjo. The banjo has been fully inspected and set up and includes our Full Satisfaction Guarantee. If you have any questions at all please ask. Thanks!!!!
