This is an all original 1930’s Gibson Kel Kroydon Tenor Banjo.  This also includes the original case.  We are selling this for the person that either wants a Conversion or an All Original Tenor Banjo.

Description

This is an all original Pre War Gibson Tenor Banjo.  This has the classic Kel Kroydon design with the “mother of toilet seat” material.  The resonator and neck both have this.  This has all original parts.  All of the metal on the pot is original.  This has a hyde head as well.  The tuning keys are original, even the frets.  I haven’t cleaned or set this up because this will likely be done by the next owner.  Typically I do clean and set up all banjos but I am just making this available as is.  There are no problems at all and this would be a great banjo to clean up or convert.  This also includes the original hardshell case.  The frets do show some wear but this is still playable and the frets are original.  If you are looking for an all original Kel Kroydon Tenor Banjo with case this is it!
