This is a 1930’s Gibson TB-11 5 string conversion Banjo.  This has a Huber HR30 tone ring and a Don Bryant Neck.  This is a very special 11.  This has been set up here at the Banjo Warehouse and is an exceptional banjo!!

Description

This is the original resonator and shell but everything else is new.  This has a Huber HR30 tone ring which was fit by Steve Huber.  The neck is a Don Bryant neck which would normally be a $1300 neck.  All of the hardware is new hardware.  The banjo has original finish on the resonator which still looks fantastic.  This banjo sounds incredible and this is a fantastic example of a pre war 11.  This also includes a hardshell case.

Condition

The original rim and resonator are both in excellent condition.  Due to the fact that everything else is new all of the rest of the banjo is also in stellar condition.  This is a very attractive banjo that is really a great chance to get a Pre War Gibson.  The banjo is put together very well and this plays and sounds incredible.  There are spikes at the 7th-9th frets.  The frets are in perfect condition and the neck looks incredible.  This has no cosmetic or functional issues.  The case is also in fantastic condition.

Set Up

We set all of our Banjos up here at the shop.  This has comfortable action with lots of room to produce tone and volume.  This has a new Huber frosted head by Remo, a new Huber 5/8 bridge and new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings.  The banjo has proper intonation.  The head has been set to 90 on a drum dial all the way around the head.
