Description
This is a Kel Kroydon Pre War conversion banjo and the pot on this is GORGEOUS!! This has that classic “mother of toilet seat” construction with a gorgeous design on the back of the resonator. These TB11 banjos are super cool and they not only look great these can be incredible conversion banjos. This has a Blaylock tone ring.
Condition
This is an all original pot other than the Blaylock ring and the hardware on this is clean and really looks great. The neck is an unknown maker and there is some nice tulip type inlay going up the fretboard and the frets are clean. This is a neck with a lot of life left and is definitely a professional builder. The neck has some checking on the back which I have pictured, that is not cracking that is finish checking. The neck is in great structural shape and is straight and this is set up to play!!!
