1941 Gibson L7 Acoustic Guitar

This is a gorgeous near all original example of a 1941 Gibson L7 without electronics. This has been fully inspected and set up here at the Banjo Warehouse.

Description

This is a hollow body acoustic with solid maple sides and back and a solid spruce top. This has a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard. The fretboard has trapezoid inlay. There is w/b/w binding on the front and back of the body (white with a black pinstripe). There is also white binding on each side of the neck and headstock. The headstock also has inlay work including the Gibson logo. This is all original except for a missing pickguard. This model was made without a pickup so there are no electronics. The finish is original and clean which is a huge plus because this preserves the original tone of the guitar. This also includes a gig bag.

Condition

This is really clean. The finish looks fantastic with little evidence of wear. The neck and fretboard are both super clean as well. There is some fretwear but this does not effect function at all. There is no buzzing and this plays and sounds fantastic. The buttons on the tuners are original and have aged but that also has no functional issue. Overall this is in great shape and very attractive and other than the missing pickguard this is all original. The guitar has been set up at the shop and this plays and sounds magnificent.
