1951 Gibson CF 100 Acoustic Guitar

This is a very cool Gibson CF 100 Acoustic Guitar with a cutaway and hardshell case. This has been inspected and set up here at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

Description

This has mahogany sides and back and a solid spruce top. This is all solid wood. The neck is also mahogany with a rosewood fretboard. The fretboard has trapezoid inlay. The guitar has a sunburst finish which is the original finish. This has the original bridge. The tuning keys are original but the buttons are new. This is definitely a worn guitar but the original finish is a big deal because of the original tone it makes and the guitar is solid and structurally sound. This also includes a newer Dean hardshell case.

Condition

The guitar does have wear but there are no functional problems. There are a few repaired cracks in the back of the guitar and another crack where the endpin is on the lower bout. There is definitely finish scratches o the guitar and some small dings and nicks. The frets may be new but they are definitely in good shape. This is a well loved and well played guitar that is in great functional shape. The guitar has been set up and it plays and sounds incredible. The Dean hardshell case is clean.
