This is an all original Pre CBS Strat with a sunburst finish and original hardshell case. This has been fully inspected and set up here at the Banjo Warehouse. This is a special guitar.

Description

This is all original with a Sunburst finish and a Rosewood fretboard. The guitar is also made before the shift to a larger guitar headstock. This also has an L serial number. This is definitely a special guitar that truly has the classic sound. Everything is original except for the nut, a few pickguard screws and a hole that was drilled in the pickguard. That hole was more than likely for a toggle switch that was added later on. The case is also original. This has the look, sound and feel that vintage guitar lovers die for.

Condition

The guitar is definitely in great shape but there is some wear. The finish has some areas that have worn off. There is also a lot of checking on the body. The finish is original on the neck also but has been worn down very thin on the back side because of so much playing. This actually helps the function because the guitar can be played faster. The frets are in really good shape but there is wear. This absolutely does not effect the function at all. This guitar has no functional issues whatsoever with a very nice neck and clean and working electronics. The original case is also in excellent condition. The latches and hinges are all there and working with clean tolex and lining.
