1965 Martin D18 Acoustic Guitar

This is a gorgeous 1965 D18 with Original Finish and a really nice Victoria Hardshell Case.  This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

Description

This is a phenomenal example of a 1960’s Martin Guitar that some player is going to go crazy over.  This is not all original but this is close and is set up very well.

This has Mahogany Back and Sides and a Spruce Top, all Solid.  The fretboard is rosewood with dots.  This is the basic and standard D18 design with tortoise and b/w/b/w/b binding.

The guitar has had a neck reset and it has a new bridge.  The original bridge is in the case.  The new bridge is a perfect match, there are no lines from the old bridge at all.  In addition the tuners are new but there are period correct replicas.  The finish is original.  This is definitely a player guitar simply because it is not all original. However the condition is incredible and it is set up and sounds and plays like a dream.  This also has a Victoria Hardshell Case.  This is an awesome example of a vintage Martin Guitar at a smoking hot price.

Condition

The guitar is definitely in good shape.  There is some pick wear on the sound hole and around the pickguard.  There is a tuner clipped to the soundhole that I am just going to leave there.  The back and sides look incredible.  The neck and fretboard along with frets also look incredible.  This is in great shape and ready to go with a really cool and clean Victoria Hardshell Case.
