1977 Sunburst Music Man Stingray
This is really a gem!! This has a clean sunburst finish with all original parts with a maple neck. This has original frets that are also exceptionally clean with almost no wear and this is set up with a straight neck and low action. The body and neck are July 14 and July 23 of 1977 so this is also an early Stingray.
The back of the body has a light scratch and a couple of tiny dings. That is about the extent of the wear on the bass. This is an all around top notch well taken care of bass that is now over 40 years old and was made during the Leo Fender era of Music Man.
I want to emphasize how clean even the metal is, the tuners shine and the hardware on the body is glowing as well. This weighs 11 pounds and 9 ounces. The pots are dated the 28th week of 1977, the 27th week of 1977 and then only the number 6 is visible on the last pot. All of the electronics are original with the epoxy.
One of the latches on the case is broken but the case is sturdy and also super clean and closes securely.
