Description

This is a bass that I put together out of parts that had accumulated at the shop. However all of the parts on this are the best to have and this is a bass that is made entirely of 1977 parts. This has the John Holmes Long Pole Pickups, epoxy preamp from a 1977, string through body, this even has the TM on the headstock by the Music Man logo. This is a 1977 and this is a serious bass for a player.

This has a refinished Inca silver body with a one piece maple neck. All of the chrome parts are original and this has all original and working electronics. This bass is the shit. If you want the true Pre Ernie Ball growl you need a 1977 with these parts and this was a project for me to make the baddest Pre Ernie Stingray Bass. This also has an original hardshell case.

Condition

The finish definitely has wear including a deep scratch on the back of the body. The neck is in good shape and the frets are good. All of the electronics are clean and everything is working and this is set up to rock. If you want a true Pre Ernie Stingray this is it, even though it is worn and technically a Frankenstein.
