1977 Music Man Stingray Bass Sunburst Organic Relic
This is a naturally relic’d 1977 Stingray Bass that is all original with a beautiful case. This has been inspected, cleaned and set up by the Stingray Man at the Banjo Warehouse.

Description
This is an exceptional example of the ideal vintage design. This has a thunder pocket with an epoxy preamp, string through body and is all original from 1977. This bass has a lot of boom and pop and has been naturally aged to give it the total vibe.
This has an original ash body that weighs 10 pounds and 13 ounces. The finish is original sunburst with a nice patina. There does seem to be some overspray but I do believe this has original finish on it. The neck is a one piece maple neck with original finish that has also patinad. The frets and nut are original as well. There is a lot of wear on the fretboard and the frets are worn. This doesn’t effect function and there is no fretbuzz but this is worth noting.
All of the electronics are original including a 1977 pickup and an epoxy preamp. The electronics are all clean and everything works. The hardware is original and is chrome and also has aged. This is really a cool looking piece.
The body is dated July 1977 and the neck is August of 1977.
This also includes a deluxe hardshell case that alone is at least $200. If you are going to buy a relic why not just get the original?
Set Up
This has been set up by the Stingray Man at the Banjo Warehouse. This has new Ernie Ball Super Slinky Strings. The bass is set up to really play well with loads of tone. This 1977 is smooth with a phenomenal low end.
