1978 Music Man Stingray Bass all original and very clean with an original hardshell case. This is a very nice Stingray with glowing finish and hardware and is fully functional with an epoxy preamp and includes my Full Satisfaction Guarantee.
1978 Music Man Stingray Bass Natural Finish
This is a gem. This has glowing hardware and a striking natural finish over some gorgeous grain so this has that effect that only the very well taken care of Stingray basses possess. This is also a 1978 B00 Bass with an epoxy preamp and all original electronics so this bass is full of life and attack that only the earlier Stingray basses can do. If you want to have a primo Stingray bass and want to get the B00 bass sound this is it!!!
The bass is not mint, there are some light surface scratches here and there, the pick guard also shows some scratching and most notably the underside of the bass has some finish worn off likely from wear from a strap. Fortunately the only serious sign of wear is in a place that almost nobody ever sees!!!! This is absolutely a stunning example of a Stingray bass but it isn’t mint and there is a spot on the bottom of the body that is more serious than “light wear”
The bass is all original down to the shining screws and everything about this screams beautiful. This also has an original hardshell case. I have a picture of the original dried out mutes in a ziplock bag, you can order new mute pads from Ernie Ball if that’s your thing and the original mute tongues are still on the bass.
Even the original frets are gorgeous and show very very limited wear.
