SOLD FREE USA SHIPPING 1978 Music Man Stingray Bass Sunburst 9 pounds 2 Ounces I do not see many of these at this weight, generally anything less than 10 pounds is considered a light Stingray bass. It is very rare that one comes in even at 9.5 pounds. This is 9 pounds and 2 ounces and it feels like an Ernie Ball it is so light!!! The bass is all original with a Sunburst finish and a maple neck and all original electronics including an epoxy preamp. The body is also an older style with a deep pickup cavity which absolutely helps tone. This has 5 new frets at the 1st through 5th fret. This is a tone monster!!! This also includes an original hardshell case. Condition The bass itself has a lot of checking and some light wear but it’s in overall really good shape as well. There are 5 new frets and the rest have just been cleaned and leveled so the frets are perfect. The neck shows some wear but man this is a nice neck. The wear is also minimal. Overall the bass looks great and has no issues. This is such a cool bass at 9 pounds 3 ounces and there are a lot of players that would die to own this just because of the weight. But then add that it is sunburst and epoxy this is THE BOMB!!! This has been set up and has no playing issues. In addition the electronics are all working and are also clean.
