Description

This is a phenomenal Pre Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray Bass with a gorgeous and clean Sunburst Finish and All Original Parts.  These are some of the finest electric basses that have ever been made producing a deep and beefy low end with a pop and bang on the high end that have left bass players around the world addicted and in love with Music Man.

This has a clean and original Sunburst finish and the neck is a one piece maple neck with original finish.  The hardware is chrome and all original and this has a string through body.  The bass is all original and includes an original hardshell case.

The electronics are original including an epoxy covered preamp.  The pickups are original and this has a routed pocket in the body, which is original, which has proven to improve the response of tone out of these old Stingray Basses.  This is a serious badass Stingray Bass and these have gotten really hard to find.  If you want a BADASS Pre Ernie Stingray you have found it.

Condition

This bass is in fantastic shape as is the original case.  The original finish is clean all the way around with a spot of buckle wear on the back of the body.  The frets are original and in great shape all the way down the board.  The bass is set up and is a phenomenal player with a very nice neck that feels great.  This bass is gorgeous and feels, plays and sounds fantastic.  The original case is clean as well.

These old Pre Ernie Stingray Basses have gotten nearly impossible to find and this is a stellar example of one of these basses.  If you are looking for one of the finest basses in the history of electric bass you have found it.  Don’t let this one pass you by.
