This is a Pre Ernie Ball Sabre Bass from 1979 that is CLEAN, All original minus a new jack, and has a clean original case.  This has been inspected and set up by the Stingray Man.

Description

This is a very cherry Sabre Bass.  Sabre production started in 1979 so not only is this a very clean example of a Pre Ernie Ball Sabre this is an early model.

This has the original natural finish.  The electronics are all original except for a new input jack.  This has 2 original Sabre humbuckers and the original preamp, pots and switches.  All of the hardware is original and is also very clean.  This has the original frets and nut as well.

The case is definitely cherry as well and is original.  This is a phenomenal example of an early Sabre Bass.

Condition

This is in fantastic shape and has been detailed by the Stingray Man.  The bass has been disassembled and all of the finish has been waxed to a shine.  There is basically no wear at all in the finish.  The frets basically look new.  All of the electronics have been cleaned and are working great.  This is absolutely set up and ready to go with New Strings.  The case is also very clean inside and out.
