1979 Music Man Sabre Bass Olympic White

This is a very rare Pre Ernie Ball Music Man Sabre Bass in an Olympic White Finish. This has been inspected and set up by the Stingray Man in Atlanta Georgia.

Description

This has an olympic white finish with a one piece maple neck. The bass is all original with 2 humbuckers and all original electronics. The Sabre Bass is definitely more rare then the Stingray and this has a rare White Finish. The bass weighs 9 pounds 9 ounces and the neck is dated August 1979 with no date on the body. This has all chrome hardware and it is all original. The bass is definitely super cool and has an original case.

Condition

The bass is in really good shape with some normal wear. The finish has yellowed but that gives it some more vibe. There is also some checking, nicks and some scratching in the finish. The neck and the frets are in great shape. The bass has been disassembled and all of the hardware has been buffed and it has a nice shine. All of the electronics are working and clean and this plays and sounds great. This is definitely a great looking bass. The original case is also in great shape.

Sabre Basses are incredibly hard to find and everything Pre Ernie Ball has exploded with collectability. This is a stellar example of a Pre Ernie Ball Sabre.
