Description

This is a Sabre bass from 1979 that a gentleman in Italy went to great lengths to make an Inca Silver Pre Ernie Ball Sabre Bass. This is all original other then the refinish and it is also missing the mute kit plus it has a new input jack and strap buttons. All Pre Ernie Ball Music Man basses have gotten very hard to find but to find such a beautiful Sabre is beyond special. This is even considering that it has been refinished.

This has an inca silver body with a one piece maple neck. I am assuming the neck has been refinished to match the fresh finish on the body because the neck finish is very clean. This bass generally is very clean all the way around.

This has all original hardware other then the missing mute kit. All of the electronics are original and working. The bass really sounds fantastic.

This also is a great and solid player. This is a strong bass and this sort of bass does not come up for sale often. The bass comes with an SKB hardshell case.

Condition

The condition is very good, this would be called mint by a lot of players I know. The finish is basically perfect. The chrome has some minor tarnish but I could take this apart and detail this and make this metal look brand new. Point is this bass is clean.

Everything is working and it looks great. This is the bass you are looking for.
