Description

Geoff Stelling has recently retired which has caused some more interest in Stelling Banjos. This was at the base of the Stelling line so it is a bit more affordable but will still deliver the Stelling Sound and Experience that the player wants.

This has a maple neck and resonator with an ebonall fretboard that has snowflakes. There is black binding on the neck and resonator.

The hardware is nickel and includes a one piece Stelling Ribbon Flange and a No Hole Stelling Tone Ring. This has a new armrest and a new Presto style tailpiece but outside of those parts and the Keith Tuners the banjo is all original. This also includes a modern hardshell case.

Condition

This banjo is in superb condition. This has been disassembled and all of the hardware buffed at our shop. The metal looks new. The finish is clean and has been waxed to a shine. There is finish worn off of the underside of the neck under the first few frets. That is pictured. This banjo is in awesome shape. The case is in good shape as well.

Set Up

This has been set up with a new Remo frosted head which is set to 90. The bridge is a Stelling Bridge and this has new Huber strings. This is a powerful player and this is set up and ready to go!
