This is a very nice ODE Style C that was Made in USA during the Gretsch Era.  This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

Description

Baldwin and ODE are probably the most underrated banjos.  This is a Vintage and Finely Crafted American Made instrument that is superior to comparably priced Gibson Banjos of the same era.

This has a multiply maple shell with a mahogany neck and resonator.  The neck is a dark rosewood with a gorgeous inlay pattern.  There is all original nickel hardware including a one piece ODE flange and a Full Size 20 hole tone ring.  This is a really nice banjo that looks fantastic and plays and sounds like heaven.  This also includes a very nice TKL Hardshell Case.

Condition

This is in great shape and was so clean on the way in we did not do our Full Service Cleaning on this.  The hardware looks fantastic, it basically looks new.  The finish is in great shape with limited wear.  There are a couple of very light button scratches on the back of the resonator which are almost unnoticeable.  The fretboard is clean and has been oiled.  The frets are in good shape and there are spikes at frets 7, 9 and 10.    The TKL case is definitely clean inside and out.

Set Up

This has been set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.  This has a clean 5 star frosted head which appears to be new.  The bridge is a Timeless Bridge and the intonation is set.  This has new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and this is set up for fast playing with strong volume.  This is definitely a nice banjo that is ready to go.
