1981 Stelling Gospel Deluxe
This is a gorgeous walnut banjo with an ebony (not ebonall) fretboard that has stunning fully engraved Gold Hardware. Gospel Banjos were only made for a short time at the beginning of Stelling’s production and those are rare. However to have one with this type of Gold Hardware and this nice of wood is exceptional. The gold is fully engraved all over the banjo and we have a lot more shots of this available, they will be on our website soon. This is about as nice and rare of a Stelling banjo as you could hope to find and this is set up and playing exceptionally well. The sound is absolutely extraordinary and will blow you away.
This also has gorgeous inlay going up the fretboard and the headstock has a large cross inlaid. Both sides of the neck and resonator have checkerboard binding. There is also a thin strip of white binding on the resonator wall and on each side of the neck and headstock. This really is an absolutely gorgeous banjo and is definitely a rare and special piece.
