This is an all original Stelling Whitestar 5 string Banjo with original case.  This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

Description

Geoff Stelling has made some of the finest banjos in the history of banjo.  Geoff has recently retired and there will be no more Stelling Banjos made which has caused a rush on these banjos and they have gotten very hard to find.  This banjo is all original and gorgeous with an original case and is cleaned up, set up and ready to go.

This has an original Stelling Maple rim and a maple neck and resonator each with black binding.  The fretboard is ebony with snowflakes.  All of the hardware is original and includes a Stelling One Piece Ribbon Flange and a Stelling No Hole Tone Ring.  The tailpiece is a Stelling as is the armrest.  This banjo is in great shape and includes an original hardshell case which is also clean.

Condition

This banjo is in fantastic condition and has been cleaned at the Banjo Warehouse.  The banjo has been disassembled and all of the hardware has been buffed with a high powered buffer and it looks great.  The finish has been waxed and has a nice shine.  The fretboard is in good shape and the frets are in overall good shape with only minimal wear.  There are spikes at frets 7,9 and 10.  The case is in good shape inside and out.

Set Up

This has been set up at the Banjo Warehouse.  The banjo has a Remo frosted head which is set to 90.  The bridge is a Huber.  The strings are Huber .10s and this is a fantastic player.  This banjo is cleaned up, set up, and looks great, sounds great and plays like a dream.
