Description

The Basses made in the SQ and JV series by Squier in 1983 Japan were beyond exceptional. These are considerably different then any Squier that has ever been made and these sound and play like a professional instrument. That is real and not an exaggeration. These are probably the most undervalued instruments in the entire history of any Fender produced instrument.

This bass has new Fender USA pickups but everything else other then the strap buttons and pickguard is original and this plays and sounds fantastic.

This has a Sunburst finish with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard. The rosewood board really gives this a warm tone. This bass also includes a new gig bag.

Condition

This bass is overall clean but there are some points worth mentioning. First of all someone scratched BC and a star into the back side of the left hand cutaway. There are also some nicks and chips in the finish which are minor. The frets are in incredible shape and the fretboard is also super clean. The pickups and electronics all work and are clean. This is absolutely a great player that has a Vintage Fender sound that is often not even considered simply because this says Squier. If you know you know.
