Description

These were the original BADASS Pre War replicas that were made in Japan. These were made by Saga in Japan and they did an extraordinary job on these banjos. They did such a good job that today the banjo player for Ricky Scaggs (Russ Carson) plays one and these old JD Crowe Gold Star Banjos are HOT because of it.

This has a curly maple neck and resonator, each with w/b/w binding. The fretboard is ebony and this has a Hearts and Flowers inlay pattern. The hardware is gold and all original and features a classic engraving pattern that is very well known. This banjo is GORGEOUS and all original.

I am kidding in no way when I say these old Crowe Gold Star are POWERHOUSE Banjos. This is the banjo you have been looking for.
