Description

This is nearly the PERFECT Greg Rich era Earl Scruggs Standard. It is not only super clean but it has the original Gibson stamped factory D Tuners, Kulesh AFP Tone Ring. The label is also hand signed by Earl Scruggs in Baby Blue ink on the label. Plus the frets are perfect, this has no spikes and no 5th string capo and never has had either. I happen to have an original Gibson Shipping Box that says Gibson and I will include that also. THIS IS YOUR DREAM BANJO.

This has a standard 3 ply Maple Rim and the neck and resonator are curly maple. The fretboard is beautiful black ebony with a gorgeous Hearts and Flowers inlay. This has nickel hardware and the hardware shines and glows and could be blinding if there was too much light in the room. :This is a very special banjo.

This has a one piece GIBSON USA Flange and I mention this also has original Gibson Factory D Tuners and a Kulesh AFP Tone Ring.

Condition and Set Up

This banjo is astonishing and gorgeous. We took it apart and cleaned all of the metal with Semi Chrome and it looks new. The wood has been waxed and the fretboard cleaned and oiled.

This has a new Remo frosted head and a new Huber Bridge. The banjo is strung with new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings. This banjo is not only a gem it is set up to maximize tone and performance. You want this Banjo.
