1994 Gibson RB250 5 string Banjo Neck

This is an original neck off of a 1994 Gibson RB250.  This has zero functional issues and no damage and is a fantastic neck for your parts banjo!!

Description

This is a mahogany neck with an ebony fretboard.  The fretboard has a Leaves and Bows inlay pattern.  This has the original 5th string tuner but no other tuners.  The headstock also has inlay work with a really nice touch, The Gibson logo is amber.  This amber is upgraded pearl that was used in the early to mid 1990’s and really looks fantastic!!!  There is also white binding which has slightly yellowed on each side of the neck.  This has spikes at frets 7-9 and 11. This is a complete and original neck that has some nice touches and is ready for your parts banjo!!!!  By the way this was made one year after Greg Rich left Gibson.

Condition

The neck is in overall really good condition.  The frets show a bit of wear on the first 5 frets which is normal.  That effects nothing as far as function.  There is also a scratch in the back of the neck under the headstock which is pictured.  That is not a crack, that is a scratch.  The finish is really clean otherwise.  The fretboard is also really clean.  This is a great neck for a parts banjo with no repairs and a working truss rod.
