1995 Gibson Earl Scruggs Standard 5 string Banjo

Description

The Earl Scruggs Standard is the best selling model of Gibson Banjo.

This has a curly maple neck and resonator along with an ebony fretboard and binding on the neck and resonator. The fretboard has a Hearts and Flowers inlay pattern and there is inlay on the headstock as well.

The hardware is nickel and all original and includes a Gibson USA one piece flange and a Gibson USA Kulesh Tone Ring. The banjo is all original other then a new truss rod cover and in great shape and includes a clean original Gibson case as well. The case was not with this banjo when it left the factory but the case is an original Gibson Case.

Condition and Set Up

This banjo is in fantastic shape and has been cleaned and set up at our shop. We took the banjo apart and buffed the metal and waxed the finish. The banjo has a nice shine now because of it. The frets and fretboard are in great shape and this has spikes at frets 7, 9 and 10. The banjo is really clean and the case is also really clean.

This has a new Remo frosted head, and a new Huber Bridge and new Huber strings. This banjo has been fully prepared and is ready to rock and roll!!!
