1996 20th Anniversary Music Man Stingray Bass
This has an ash body with a highly figured maple top. The neck is maple with a rosewood fretboard. There is translucent red body back and wood body binding which looks great. The electronics are mounted in the back without a front control plate. This really looks clean and nice. The tortoise shell pick guard is glued on which also looks clean. The headstock has a 20th Anniversary Music Man logo. This is a sleek and very attractive bass that celebrates the 20th year of Music Man production.
Condition
The bass is in really good shape. The finish is clean and there is no serious sign of wear. The neck is also clean. The rosewood looks great and the frets overall are in great shape. There is some signs of light fretwear but it is light. This neck is straight and this is set up to play fast. The bass really sounds incredible. The electronics are all working and clean. This has a lot of boom but also a lot of pop. This is a very even tone that does the 20th Anniversary justice. The case is original and the case is also in very good shape. This is a clean package.
