This is an all original 1997 Martin HD28V that is one of the most popular Vintage Style Martin Guitars.  This has been fully inspected and set up here at the Banjo Warehouse.

Description

The most popular Vintage Series model, the HD-28V is a modern re-creation of the classic herringbone Dreadnought. Channeling legends like Hank Williams, this guitar carries a distinct prestige that can only come from the Vintage Series collection.

This has East Indian Rosewood Sides and Back with a Solid Sitka Spruce top.  The neck is mahogany with an ebony fretboard.  The fretboard has diamond position markers.  There is herringbone binding on the top of the guitar and white binding on the sides.  This is a fantastic vintage style Martin that was designed to give the most authentic tone for the best price.  This also includes an original case.

Condition

The guitar is in overall fantastic shape.  There is some pick wear under the pickguard on the top.  That is definitely the most serious wear.  There are also a handful of very light nicks on the side of the body which are pictured. This is clean with clean finish and this really looks fantastic.  The neck and fretboard are both clean with clean frets.  This plays great and sounds phenomenal and is absolutely adjustable.  The original case is also clean.
