1998 Stelling Red Fox Custom 5 string Banjo

This is a fully engraved Stelling Red Fox that is all original with an original case. This has been fully inspected and set up here at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

Description

This has a curly maple neck and resonator with chrome hardware. The hardware is engraved all over and this is a true work of art. The fretboard is ebony. There is absolutely beautiful leaves inlaid up the fretboard. The headstock has the Stelling logo inlaid along with a Red Fox. The truss rod cover is abalone. The armrest and tailpiece are also engraved. There is w/b/w binding on each side of the neck and resonator. This is a custom Red Fox that is gorgeous and was very well taken care of. This also includes an original hardshell case.

Condition

The banjo is in gorgeous condition, this is clean all over. All of the finish and wood look great. The hardware is glowing which is accentuated by the engrave work. The neck and fretboard are clean with clean frets. There is a hint of wear on the first few frets but it is minor. There are spikes at the 7th-10th frets. This is a gorgeous banjo that has very little actual playwear. The case is also super clean.

Set Up

This has been professionally set up here at the Banjo Warehouse. This has a clean Stelling frosted head and a clean Stelling Bridge. This is strung with Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings which are new. The head is set to 90 on a drum dial all the way around the head. This has comfortable action and correct intonation. Not only is this rare and all original, this is clean and professionally set up. This is the way to turn heads and I mean in more ways than one!!!
