2000 Deering Golden Era 5 string Banjo

This is a maple banjo with nickel hardware. The neck is also maple with an ebony fretboard. The fretboard has a Hearts and Flowers inlay pattern which looks great. This is essentially a copy of the Granada that Earl Scruggs played without the extra inlay at the 1st fret. The banjo is all original and really looks fantastic!! The original cover on the tailpiece has been taken off but is in the pocket of the case. This includes the original hardshell case and owner’s manual and warranty card.

Condition

This is super clean with clean finish that really shines. The hardware is clean and absolutely glows. The banjo has been well taken care of. The neck is straight with a clean fretboard. The neck is straight and the banjo has been set up here at the Banjo Warehouse. The banjo plays great and sounds incredible. This has that classic Scruggs sound. The frets are clean all the way down with only light wear on the first few frets. There are spikes at the 7th-9th frets. This is all original, clean and set up and plays and sounds incredible. The original hardshell case is also in excellent shape.
