2000 Gibson RB250 5 string Banjo

This is an all original and very clean 2000 Gibson RB250.  The banjo is gorgeous.  This also includes a very nice deluxe archtop hardshell case.  All of our sales include a 7 DAY FULL SATISFACTION GUARANTEE!!!

2000 Gibson RB250 Description

The RB250 is essentially the same banjo as an RB3 with a fiddle headstock and no concentric rings on the resonator.  The banjo is mahogany with nickel hardware.  The neck is also mahogany with an ebony fretboard.  The fretboard has a leaves and bows inlay pattern.  This has a one piece armrest and a Presto Tailpiece.  There is white binding on each side of the neck and resonator.  This is all original and definitely super clean.  This doesn’t have spikes installed which is a sign that it wasn’t played much.  We will be happy to install spikes if you would like.  This also includes a very nice maroon deluxe archtop case.

Condition

The banjo is in near perfect shape.  The finish looks almost untouched.  The hardware looks new.  The neck is straight with a clean fretboard.  The frets also look almost new.  The banjo is truly near mint.  The fact there are no spikes is huge and indicates that there was almost no playtime.  The one thing is the Presto tailpiece cover is a bit loose and there is a piece of velcro to keep it in place.  That is pictured.  This is actually not an uncommon problem for a tailpiece.  A lot of people just take the cover off. On top of all of this the case looks almost new as well.

Set Up

This has been professionally set up here at the Banjo Warehouse.  The action is perfect for fast playing with great volume.  This has proper intonation.  The head is set to 90 on a drum dial.  The head is a frosted Remo Head.  There is no name on the bridge which is a 5/8 bridge.  CALL TODAY 404-372-5482
