This is an all original Gibson RB4 5 string Banjo with the original hardshell case.  The banjo looks great and has been set up to play and sound incredible.  We have more Professional Grade Banjos than any store on earth!

Description

This is a walnut banjo with a 3 ply hard rock maple shell.  This also has a walnut neck with a rosewood fretboard.  The fretboard has a Flying Eagle inlay pattern which looks great!  This has nickel hardware.  There is white binding on each side of the neck and resonator.  This has an original one piece armrest and an original Presto Tailpiece.  The banjo has spikes on the 7th-9th frets.  This also includes an original Gibson Hardshell Case.

Condition

The banjo is definitely in really good shape.  The finish looks great.  The hardware also looks fantastic.  This is definitely clean wood and metal.  The neck is clean with a clean fretboard.  The frets are also clean.  There is some minor fretwear on the first few frets but only the first few.  This is an all original and clean Gibson RB4.  The case is somewhat worn on the outside and one of the latches is missing.  The inside is definitely clean and the case is absolutely sturdy and a good case for this banjo.  It simply has some wear on the outside, which is to be expected.

Set Up

This has been set up here at the Banjo Warehouse.  The banjo has comfortable action with a lot of tone and volume.  The banjo has proper intonation.  The head is set to 90 on a drum dial all the way around.  This has a Gibson bridge.  This has a new Huber frosted head and new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings.
