2004 Gibson Granada 5 string Banjo

This is a stunning, unused 2004 Gibson Granada Banjo.  This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

Description

This banjo is probably the cleanest Granada I have seen.  This is perfect in basically every way and has a near mint case with case candy.

This has a 3 ply hard rock maple shell with a curly maple neck and resonator.  The fretboard is rosewood with a Flying Eagle inlay.  The hardware is gold and engraved and is in perfect condition.  Even the armrest shows no wear.  This has a one piece Gibson USA Flange and an original Gibson 20 hole tone ring.  This banjo is stunning, all original and plays and sounds like heaven.

Condition

LIke I said this in nearly perfect condition.  The gold glows and shows no wear.  I cannot emphasize just how much I am amazed at how clean this is.  The neck and resonator are perfect.  The frets are nearly perfect and really the only reason I am not saying this is mint.  The first couple frets have the type of wear that only the most anal person would call wear.  However I deal with a lot of anal people so I want to make sure to mention this.  There are no spikes and no 5th string capo and there never was which supports that this banjo was barely played.  The banjo would have to have some kind of 5th string capo to be played at a serious level.

This is basically perfect and the case looks new.

Set Up

This has been set up at the Banjo Warehouse.  This has a Remo frosted head which is set to 90 on a drum dial.  The bridge is the original Gibson Bridge which also supports that this was barely played considering the original bridge has survived.  This has new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings but the banjo also has an original set of Gibson Earl Scruggs strings if you would prefer those.

This banjo is nuts how clean it is and Granadas have gotten impossible to find in any condition
