2004 Gibson JD Crowe RB75 5 string Banjo

This is a gorgeous and all original 2004 Gibson JD Crowe Banjo with the original case.  This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description

This is a copy of an RB75 that was played by JD Crowe.  This is a JD Crowe signature series RB75 that is all original with the original case.

This has a 3 ply hard rock maple shell.  The neck and resonator are both mahogany.  This has nickel hardware and is all original.  The fretboard is rosewood and this has a Flying Eagle inlay pattern.  There is white binding on each side of the neck and resonator.  This has an original Gibson USA Flange and an original JD Crowe tone ring.  The armrest is a one piece armrest and this has an original Presto Tailpiece.  This is a gorgeous example of a Crowe RB75 that is in really good shape.  This also includes an original Gibson case.

This is a fantastic banjo for the player that wants volume and a lot of attack.  This banjo has a lot of punch and is definitely an aggressive banjo.

Condition

We professionally clean every banjo that comes through our shop.  This has been disassembled and the metal has been buffed and the wood has been waxed.  This basically looks new and has a really nice glow to it.  The neck and fretboard are really clean and this has super clean frets.  There are spikes at frets 7-10.  This is definitely in great shape and also includes a clean original case.

Set Up

We also professionally set up every Banjo that comes through our shop.  This has a new Remo frosted head which has been set to 90 on a drum dial.  The bridge is set with correct intonation.  This has new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and the action is set nicely.  This is also fully adjustable.  This banjo is a cannon that has been professionally cleaned and set up to look, play and sound its best.  Check out Banjo Warehouse for All Sorts of really interesting Banjos for sale.
