2004 Gibson RB250 5 string Banjo

This is a clean and all original 2004 Gibson RB250 Banjo.  This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

Description

This is a 2004 Gibson RB250 which is a Mastertone and is all original and gorgeous.

The banjo has a 3 ply hard rock maple shell with a mahogany neck and resonator.  The fretboard is ebony and has a leaves and bows inlay pattern.  The hardware is nickel and all original including a Gibson USA one piece flange and an original Gibson Tone Ring.  The neck and resonator each have white binding, the armrest is one piece and this has the original Presto tailpiece.  This also has the original case and warranty paperwork.

This banjo is powerful and has a lot of pop and also plays great.  This neck feels incredible.  The RB250 is probably the most undervalued model of Gibson Banjo and this is a Mastertone which is significant.

Condition

This banjo is in awesome shape and has been professionally cleaned at our shop.  The banjo has been disassembled and all of the hardware buffed to a shine.  The finish has been waxed and also looks fantastic.  The fretboard has been cleaned and oiled and the frets look fantastic.  This has spikes at frets 7 and 9.  The original case is in great shape as well.

Set Up

This has been set up at the Banjo Warehouse.  The banjo has a new Huber frosted head which is set to 90.  The bridge is a new Huber bridge.  This has new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and this banjo plays great!!!  This is a stellar player that is oozing with tone.  This is the banjo you are looking for.
