2004 Gibson RB4 5 string Banjo SUPER CLEAN

This is an absolutely gorgeous and super clean 2004 Gibson RB4 5 string Banjo.  This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description

This is absolutely beautiful.  This was clearly well taken care of and not played much.  This is a collector grade 2004 Gibson RB4 that has a super clean original hardshell case.

This has a 3 ply hard rock maple shell.  The neck and resonator are walnut .  This has nickel hardware.  The fretboard is rosewood and this has a Flying Eagle inlay pattern.  The neck and resonator have w/b/w binding on each side.  This has a Gibson USA one piece flange and a Mystery Tone Ring.  The Tone Ring is original and is probably a Sullivan.  This even still has the original Gibson Bridge.  The headstock also has inlay work including the Gibson logo.

The RB4 has a dark and haunting sound and this is also a beautiful instrument.  This is all original and professionally set up plus it includes the original hardshell case.

Condition

We professionally clean almost every banjo that comes through our shop but this was clean on the way in.  The hardware all shines and the wood looks fantastic.  We did wax the wood and buff the metal so it has even more glow.  There is basically no actual sign of use anywhere on the wood or metal, it truly is that clean.  The neck and fretboard are also super clean and the frets look perfect.  This has spikes at the 7th and 9th frets.  On top of this super clean banjo the original case is also exceptionally clean.  This is truly gorgeous.

Set Up

We professionally set up every Banjo that comes through our shop.  This has the original Remo frosted head which has been set to 90 on a drum dial.  The bridge is the original Gibson Bridge which is set to correct intonation.  The strings are new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings and the action is set nicely.  This is also fully adjustable.

This is a collector quality, super clean Gibson RB4 that has been professionally set up to play and sound like heaven.  If you want the perfect RB4 this is it.
