2005 Gibson JD Crowe RB75
This is a replica of the RB3 that JD Crowe played. This is a mahogany banjo with nickel hardware. The neck is also mahogany and has a rosewood fretboard. The neck has a flying eagle inlay pattern. The banjo is all original. This includes a very nice archtop hardshell case. I believe this case was made by the same company that made the Gibson cases but it is an aftermarket. The inside of the resonator has a signature from JD Crowe. This is all original and includes a very nice case and is signed by JD Crowe as well.
CONDITION
Overall the banjo is in fantastic condition. The wood on the resonator is clean as is the hardware. There is a touch of age but it is definitely in good shape. The neck is straight and this has been set up. It definitely plays great. This is an incredible sounding banjo as well. The only wear worth noting is there is some wear by the nut on the top of the neck which looks like it is from a capo being on too tight. Other than that the banjo is in fantastic condition. The case is also clean inside and out. The JD Crowe signature on the inside is clean as well. This is set up and plays and sounds incredible.
