Description

This is a mahogany banjo with nickel hardware. The neck is also mahogany with an ebony fretboard. The resonator and neck have white binding. The fretboard is gorgeous and has nice inlay and headstock inlay. There are ribbons in the flange. This is really gorgeous. The banjo has spikes in the 7th-10th frets. This is all original and includes the original Stelling hardshell case.

Condition

The banjo is in great shape. The finish is clean with no serious wear at all. In fact it is super clean. The fretboard is clean and the hardware looks fantastic!! This is glowing!!! There is some light fretwear on the first few frets but that does not effect any playing. There are spikes at 7-10. The banjo truly looks incredible and it plays and sounds fantastic!! The original hardshell case is also clean.

Set Up

This has been set up here at the Banjo Warehouse. The banjo has comfortable action that produces a lot of tone and volume. This also has proper intonation. The head is set to 90 on a drum dial all the way around the head. The head is a new Huber frosted head and the strings are new Huber Truetone .10’s. The bridge is a Timeless bridge with an ebony cap.
