2006 Gibson Earl Scruggs Standard CLEAN

This is an incredible example of a Scruggs Standard Banjo. This is absolutely gorgeous. The Scruggs Standard is a copy of the Gibson Granada that Earl Scruggs played. The gold wore off to nickel and he had an ebony fretboard with a Hearts and Flowers inlay added. That is what this banjo is. This is all original and in fantastic condition.

Description

This is a Curly Maple banjo with a 3 ply Hard Rock Maple shell. The neck is also Curly Maple with an ebony fretboard. The fretboard has a Hearts and Flowers inlay. There is one extra inlay at the first fret like Earl’s banjo. There is white binding on each side of the fretboard and resonator. The hardware is nickel. One piece armrest and a Gibson Presto tailpiece. There are spikes at the 7th, 9th and 10th frets. Includes Original Hardshell Case.

Condition

This banjo is super clean. The finish looks great. The hardware is popping it is so clean. The banjo glows! The neck is straight with a clean fretboard. The frets look almost untouched. This is in absolutely amazing condition and would make any banjo player happy!! The Original Case is also super clean.

Set Up

This is set up with Huber Truetone strings. The head has no markings. The bridge is a Gibson bridge. The banjo has nice action to play fast but still produce some good volume. The head is set to 90 on a drum dial. This is a super clean, all original Gibson Earl Scruggs Standard with an Original Hardshell Case.
