2006 Martin D28CW Clarence White
This has solid Rosewood Sides and Back. The top is a Solid Adirondack Spruce Top. The neck is Mahogany with a Rosewood Fretboard. There is white binding on each side of the neck. There is also white binding on the body with a herringbone inlay. This is all original and is essentially New Old Stock. This was bought and put right under a bed. This has sat under a bed for over 10 years. This is Mint with zero wear.
Condition
This is a Near Mint unplayed guitar. Even the frets are untouched and in mint condition. The guitar is absolutely gorgeous with literally zero issues. The endpin still hasn’t been put in. These came new with the endpins not installed and this is still that way. The guitar is New Old Stock, near mint condition with no playwear.
Sound and Playability
This has the classic Bluegrass sound. The guitar is LOUD. The rosewood gives this a sweet tone, but the adirondack gives this some bite. The guitar is set up with Bluegrass action so the action is a bit higher. This does not mean unplayable, this means set up for tone. I want to say again that this is a very loud guitar. The guitar feels great to play and is an absolute joy to have around.
