2006 Yates Rattlesnake Moonshiner 5 string Banjo

This is a super cool customized banjo by Warren Yates. This has been fully inspected and set up here at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta.

Description

This has a walnut resonator with nickel hardware. The neck is also walnut with a dark radiused rosewood fretboard. The fretboard is inlaid with feet, rocketships a moon and stars. There is also a block that says Rattlesnake on the fretboard. The headstock is inlaid with a moonshine still and the Yates logo. There is w/b/w binding on each side of the neck and resonator. This has a one piece armrest and a tailpiece that I believe Warren Yates made. This banjo is truly a super cool and really attractive and unique banjo. This includes an original case marked Yates Rattlesnake on the front.

Condition

This is in great shape. All of the finish and hardware is very clean. The neck and fretboard are clean with clean frets. There is almost no wear on the frets. This has spikes in the 7th and 9th frets. This is a beautiful banjo that was very well taken care of. The original case is also clean.

Set Up

This has been professionally set up here at the Banjo Warehouse. This has a Remo frosted head with new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings. The bridge is a radiused Yates bridge with an ebony cap. The head has been set to 90 on a drum dial. This also has great string set up which is adjustable and this has correct intonation. This is absolutely a cool banjo that looks great, plays even better and has exceptional tone.
