2007 Gibson RB3 Wreath Banjo

This is a 2007 Gibson RB3 Wreath that was never sold or played. This has a neck heel repair but this is untouched otherwise. This has been inspected and set up here at the Banjo Warehouse.

Description

This banjo was never sold when it was new because it has a neck heel repair. This has been just sitting for the last decade untouched. This is an RB3 with a gorgeous Wreath inlay pattern. The banjo is mahogany with a 3 ply hard rock maple shell. The neck is also mahogany with a rosewood fretboard. There is white binding on each side of the neck and resonator. The hardware is nickel. This is all original with a one piece armrest and a Presto Tailpiece. This also includes an aftermarket hardshell case.

Condition

I mentioned the neck heel has been repaired but the rest of the banjo is basically new. The finish looks great all over. The hardware looks new, it truly glows. The fretboard and the frets are also essentially perfect. Every piece of this banjo looks fantastic. The case is also super clean.

Set Up

This has been set up here at the Banjo Warehouse. This has nice string height (action) and correct intonation. This has a Remo Frosted Head which is bright white and clean. The head is set to 90 on a drum dial all the way around the head. This has a Gibson Bridge and has new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings. This looks great, sounds great and has been set up to play great as well!!!
