This is a stunning 2008 Gibson Granada 5 string Banjo.  The banjo has been fully inspected and set up here at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description

This is a truly beautiful Granada.  This is all original with additional amber tuner buttons.  The original buttons are in the case.  This also has an original case and the original warranty paperwork.

The banjo is a curly maple banjo with a 3 ply hard rock maple shell and gold hardware.  The gold is engraved on the armrest, tailpiece and tension hoop.  The neck is also curly maple with a rosewood fretboard. The fretboard has a flying eagle inlay pattern.  The headstock also has pearl inlay work including the Gibson logo.  The tuners are gold with amber buttons which looks incredible.  The original buttons are included.  This has a one piece flange, one piece armrest and a Presto tailpiece.  The resonator and neck each have w/b/w binding on each side (white with a black pinstripe).  This is super clean and all original.

Condition

This is one of the most clean Granadas that I have seen come through here.  All of the gold basically looks new.  The finish is also bright and appears to be basically untouched.  The neck and fretboard are both clean and the headstock looks fantastic.  This is clean all over!!!  There are spikes at the 7th, 9th and 10th frets.  The original hardshell case is also super clean.

Set Up

This has been professionally set up here at the Banjo Warehouse.  This has a clean Remo frosted head which I believe to be the original head.  The bridge is a Sullivan Old Growth bridge with a rosewood cap.  This has new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings.  The head is set to 90 on a drum dial.  This has great string height (action) which is fully adjustable and also correct intonation.  Everything about this banjo screams top of the line!!  This is clean, all original and professionally set up.  This is the type of banjo that any player would be thrilled to own.
