This is an all original Gibson RB3 5 string Banjo with a Wreath inlay pattern.  The banjo is in great shape.  This also includes a very nice hardshell case.  ALL OF OUR SALES INCLUDE A 7 DAY FULL SATISFACTION GUARANTEE!!

2010 Gibson RB3 Wreath Description

This is a mahogany banjo with a 3 ply hard rock maple rim.  The hardware is nickel.  The neck is mahogany with a rosewood fretboard.  There is white binding on each side of the neck and resonator.  The banjo has a one piece armrest and a presto tailpiece.  The fretboard has a gorgeous and rare wreath inlay pattern.  The banjo is all original and includes an aftermarket hardshell case.  This also has a stamped Kulesh ring which is a bonus.  There are spikes at the 7th and 9th frets and it appears like a spike was removed and plugged at the 8th.  This was plugged with some sort of wood product.

Condition

Overall the banjo is super clean.  This is a really attractive banjo.  The hardware shines like it is new.  The finish all looks incredible.  The fretboard is clean.  There is a nick on the corner of the headstock on the back.  In addition there is some very light button scratching on the back of the resonator.  It is almost invisible until you start angling the resonator in a certain lighting.  I couldn’t get a picture of it because it is so minor.  The frets are perfect except for the first few.  The first few frets have a hint of playwear that is very minor.  This is a clean banjo with a clean hardshell case.

Set Up

All of our banjos are set up here at the Banjo Warehouse.  The action is perfect for fast playing with no buzzing.  The banjo has lots of tone and volume.  Any mahogany gibson banjo will be loud if set up properly.  The banjo has proper intonation.  This has a new Huber Frosted Head and a Scorpion Bridge.  The strings are Huber Truetone .10s.  CALL TODAY 404-372-5482
