2011 Huber Custom Walnut 5 string Banjo

This is a super cool custom Banjo by Steve Huber built with Walnut.  This has been fully inspected and set up here at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.

Description

This has a walnut resonator which happens to be some beautiful walnut.  This also has nickel hardware.  The neck is walnut with a rosewood fretboard.  The fretboard has a custom inlay pattern which is super cool.  The headstock also has inlay work with the Huber logo.  The neck and resonator each have w/b/w binding on each side.  This has a one piece armrest and Presto Tailpiece.  This is absolutely a really cool Huber banjo that also is being sold at a very very good price.  This includes a Superior Hardshell Case.

Condition

This is definitely in great shape.  There is a touch of buckle wear on the back of the resonator but it is light.  That is basically the extent of the wear.  The hardware is in great shape.  The neck and fretboard are also clean.  The frets are clean with only a smidgeon of wear on only the first few frets.  There are spikes at the 7th and 9th frets.

Set Up

This has been professionally set up here at the Banjo Warehouse in Atlanta Georgia.  The banjo has a new Huber frosted head and new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings.  The banjo is a Dotson bridge with an ebony cap.  The head is set to 90 on a drum dial and the banjo has correct intonation.  The string height is also really nice and is fully adjustable.  This is a great opportunity to get a fantastic Huber Banjo at a great price that sounds and plays like a dream!!
