This is a 2006 Huber VRB75 with a 2011 Resonator. The banjo has that classic Huber Pre War style tone and a nice hardshell case. This has been inspected and set up at the Banjo Warehouse.

Description

This is a mahogany banjo with a 3 ply hard rock maple shell. The hardware is nickel. This has a mahogany neck with an ebony fretboard. The fretboard has Leaves and Bows inlaid. There is white binding on each side of the neck and resonator. This has a one piece armrest and a Presto Tailpiece. The banjo is all original except the resonator came off of a 2011 Huber VRB75. This has the Huber Vintage Tone Ring and the Huber Vintage shell. If you want a smoking price on a fantastic Pre War style Banjo this is it!!!

Condition

Overall the banjo is in really good shape. There are some scratches on the back of the resonator. Other than that this is super clean. All the hardware looks great, and the neck and fretboard are clean. This really still glows from the front!!! The frets themselves show little wear. There are spikes at the 7th-9th frets. This is a great looking banjo that just a bit of wear has caused it to have a great price!!! The case is also clean.

Set Up

This has been set up here at the shop. This has great string height (action) which can be adjusted. The banjo also has correct intonation. The head is set to 90 on a drum dial all the way around the head. This has a new Huber Frosted Head and new Huber Truetone .10 gauge strings. The bridge is a Gary Sosebee bridge. This is a great deal on a good looking, great sounding banjo that has been professionally set up.
