Description

This is a pre Owned Huber VRBG Truetone.  That means this has the Huber Truetone Shell and the Huber HR30 Tone Ring.  This banjo is Pre Owned and has some wear but is every bit as good as it was the day it was built for function and tone.  This banjo is a true cannon that is going to make some player very happy for a very long time.

This has a 3 ply hard rock maple Truetone Shell and a Curly Maple Neck and Resonator.  The fretboard is rosewood with a Hearts and Flowers inlay pattern.  This has w/b/w/ binding on each side of the neck and resonator.

The hardware is gold and all original including a Huber HR30 Tone Ring and a Huber One Piece Flange by Prucha.  The hardware is engraved with the Granada Pattern and this has a Clam Shell Tailpiece.

This is all original and includes an original Superior Hardshell Case and also has the original warranty Paperwork.

Condition

The banjo is in fantastic shape but the headstock has some wear.  There is some light scratching and scuffing on the headstock.  If it wasn’t for that, which really is minor, this banjo would look new.

This has been disassembled and the gold has been cleaned and looks fantastic.  The finish is clean and has been waxed to a shine in our shop.  The frets have some basically minor wear on the first few frets but the fretboard and almost all of the frets are basically perfect.  This has spikes at frets 7,9 and 10.  The case is in good shape.

Set Up

This is set up with a Huber frosted head which is set to 90.  The bridge and strings are both new Huber parts.  This has been set up at the Banjo Warehouse and is ready to go.  This is a stellar option to get the authentic Pre War Tone in a Huber Granada and Save a little money.
